Elen Cora ( Елена Полозова, она же Елена Коренных ) — современная певица, композитор и автор текстов,относящаяся к новому поколению диско исполнителей, создающих новую музыку в стиле ITALO DISCO, EURO DISCO,а так же -  Русское Диско. Песни хоть и новые,  но в них  сохраняется традиционное звучание и стиль  80-ых. Елена живет и записывает свои песни в России, в Новосибирске. Поет как на английском ( проект Siberian heat и сольные песни),так и на русском ( Диско-Группа СТУДИЯ-80 ).

Впервые Елена приобрела популярность в 2007-2009 после того, как 18 ноября 2007 года она выпустила демо-версию песни в стиле диско - »FIGHT FOR YOUR DREAMS» впервые под имнем Elen Cora - это имя «изобрел» Виталий Полозов  ( чуть позже решили сделать целый  проект и назвали его SIBERIAN HEAT ).  Это был только Internet-релиз, повлекший за собой некоторое число Internet-релизов   («Angel’s Heart», »In Your City», и т.д. ). Песня «Fight for your dreams» быстро закрепилась в чартах радиостанций и позже была впервые продемонстрирована на сцене в Новосибирске в 2009 году .

Проект Siberinan heat начался как сотрудничество между Еленой ( когда она жила в Красноярске ) и Виталием Полозовым композитором и музыкальным продюсером из Новосибирска. Елена писала английские тексты на музыку Виталия, и, конечно, она пела его песни! Первый студийный альбом от SIBERIAN HEAT, названный » MYSTIC TIME» официально выпустила компания SP-RECORDS в 2012 г.

В 2009 году Елена успела так же выпустить демонстрационный интернет-альбом »INSIDE MY DISCO», с музыкой, написанной российскими Italo-disco и  Spacesynth композиторами:   Olegris (Олег Рысев) и Abbsynth (Александр Королев ), и с текстами, написанными Андреем Москалевым. Это был первый альбом (демо), выпущенный под именем Elen Cora, а перед этим были выпущены 4 сингла к альбому. Песни с этого демо-альбома позже были официально изданы в нескольких странах на сборниках, виниле и CD.  Песня »Sleeping in your hands» с этого альбома ( муз. - А. Королев, сл. - А. Москалев ) в 2010 году стала самым первым официальным релизом Елены на сборнике Нью-Йоркского рекорд лейбла SPACE SOUND RECORDS.

Оба проекта — и Elen Cora, и Siberian heat мгновенно привлекли внимание Italo disco и Euro disco слушателей со всего мира, и в 2011 г., 3 августа Элен выпустила свою первую долгоигрющую  виниловую пластинку под названием »NUMBER ONE»  с Голландским лейблом ENERGY LEVEl ( подлейбл известного Итальянского лейбла IVENTI D`AZZURRO ). Эта пластинка вобрала в себя восемь наиболее успешных песен как от Elen Cora, так и от Siberian heat.

Песни обоих проектов были так же включены во многие сборники от ZUX Music ( Германия ),  Space Sound Records (С.Ш.А.), SP Records (Россия), так же некоторые российские CD-сборники популярной музыки.

В 2012 году Элен выпустила два полноценных студийных альбома на дисках ( с золотым напылением ) с рекорд-компанией SP RECORDS - это «MYSTIC TIME» c проектом Siberian heat, и сольный альбом »HOUSE OF CARDS«. Всю музыку для альбома » MYSTC TIME» написал Виталий Полозов ( Елена была соавтором только в песне Sorry ), а тексты к альбому Елена писала вместе с Анной Гавриловой.

Альбом «House of cards» включает в себя две песни, полностью написанные Элен ( »Tell me why» и «Forgive me» ), ряд песен, написанных Виталием Полозовым ( такие как »Drama»,  » House of cards», «Tightrope dancer», и совместно Элен и Виталий написали музыку к двум песням - »Time after time» и «Powerful little things»  ), а так же три песни от Olegris (« Wanna be real», »Will you remember» и «Days and dreams» ). Альбом так же содержит одну интересную песню, написанную в соавторстве с канадским композитором и продюсером — Полом Катснельсоном — песня «Miles away«, а так же детскую песню, написанную Анной для своего сына  - »Astronomers in China». Тексты к альбому писала Елена, Анна Гаврилова и Андрей Москалев.

С 2009 года Элен так же стала вокалисткой российской Диско-Группы «СТУДИЯ-80«, которую еще в 2005 году создал ее муж - Виталий Полозов. Елена перезаписала первый альбом Студии-80 - »ПРИДУМАННЫЙ МИР», и работает над новым, под названием »ПО СВЕТУ МЛЕЧНОГО ПУТИ», и оба альбома с вокалом Елены выходят в 2013 году.

ЛИЧНАЯ ЖИЗНЬ

Елена родилась 2 февраля 1985 года в Минусинске. Когда она была ребенком, ее семья переехала в Красноярск, где она посещала школу, а с 14 лет она стала брать уроки вокала у Аллы Северяниной - оперной певицы знаменитого красноярского Театра Оперы и Балета. Свою первую песню Елена написала в 11 лет, и с раннего возраста она мечтала стать певицей, вдохновленная песнями C.C.Catch, Сандры и Modern Talking. Позже она стала выступать на площадках города Красноярска, но ее жизнь изменилась навсегда, когда она повстречала в 2007 году композитора из Новосибирска - Виталия Полозова. Они записали много песен вместе и поженились в 2009, в этом же году Елена переехала жить в Новосибирск. У них в ноябре 2010 г.  родилась дочь — Анастасия. Елена, работая над новыми песнями, все время находится рядом с дочерью.

ИНТЕРЕСНЫЕ ФАКТЫ

• Свой первый синтезатор она получила в подарок от своего старшего брата Алексея, когда он уехал учиться, и после этого она стала сочинять песни.
• Впервые Елена увидела своего будущего мужа Виталия Полозова, когда он выступал на разогреве Modern Talking, но тогда они так и не поговорили и даже не познакомились.
• Елена была моделью на обложке виниловой пластинка Мауро Фарина - »Lovables — It`s beautiful», выпущенной на IVENTI D`AZZURRO Records в 2012 году.
• Елена и Виталий венчались в церкви 15 июля 2012 года — почти через три года после того, как расписались в ЗАГСе ( 23 сентября 2009 ).

Biography in English

Elen Cora (Elena Polozova, born Elena Korennykh) is a contemporary singer, composer and lyrics writer who belongs to the new generation of disco artists, making new music in the genres of Italo Disco, Euro Disco, and Russian Disco, while staying faithful to the recording and stylistic traditions of the 1980s. Elen Cora lives and records music in Novosibirsk, Russia and sings both in English (as Elen Cora and Siberian heat), and in Russian (as Studiya-80).
Elen first gained internet popularity in 2007-2009 after, on November 18, 2007, she released a demo version of a disco song titled «Fight for your Dreams» for the first time under the name of Elen Cora - this name was «created» by Vitaly Polozov ( later decided to do project under the name «Siberian heat» ). This was an Internet-only release, followed by Internet releases of demo versions of a number of other Siberian Heat songs («Angel’s Heart», «In Your City», and others). «Fight for your Dreams» quickly climbed in the charts of disco radio stations and was later performed live in a concert in Novosibirsk in 2009 (see concert video). Siberian Heat was started in 2007 as a collaboration between Elen (then living in Krasnoyarsk) and Vitaly Polozov, a composer and producer from Novosibirsk. Elen was writing English lyrics for Vitaly’s music, and, of course, was singing! A first studio album of Siberian Heat titled «Mystic Time» was released officially in 2012 by SP Records.

In 2009 Elen released on internet a demo album titled «Inside My Disco» with music written by Russian Italo Disco and Spacesynth composers Olegris (Oleg Rysev) and Abbsynth (Alexander Korolev), and with lyrics written by Andrew Mosckalev. This was the first album released under the name of Elen Cora,  and before this was released 4 singles to this album.  Songs from this album later was released officially in few countries on compilations, vinyl and CD. Song «Sleeping in your hands» from this album ( music by A. Korolev, Lyrics by Andrew Mosckalev ) in 2010 year was the first official release of Elen on compilation by NY ( American ) record lable SPACE SOUND RECORDS.

Both Elen Cora and Siberian Heat projects gained immediate attention from Italo Disco and Euro Disco lovers from all around the world, and in 2011, 3 of August Elen has released her first vinyl LP record titled «Number One» with a Dutch label Energy Level (a sublabel of well known label I Venti D’Azzurro Records, Italy). The LP contained 8 most popular songs from both Elen Cora and Siberian Heat projects. Elen Cora and Siberian Heat songs were also included in compilations by ZYX Music (Germany), SpaceSound Records (USA) and SP Records(Russia), also some russian compilations of the popular music on CD.
In 2012 Elen has released two full-length studio albums on gold plated CDs with SP Records:«Mystic Time» by Siberian Heat, and «House of Cards» by Elen Cora. Almost all music of the «Mystic Time» album is written by Vitaly Polozov (Elen co-wrote music for song «Sorry») while lyrics are written by Elen and Anna Gavrilova.

The «House of Cards» album features two songs written by Elen as a composer («Tell Me Why» and «Forgive Me»), and a number of songs composed by Vitaly Polozov (such as «Drama» and «House of Cards», «Tightrope dancer», and together — Elen and Vitaly wrote music for two songs — «Time after time» and Powerful little things») and Olegris («Days and Dreams», «Wanna be Real», and «Will you Remember»). The album also includes an interesting song written in collaboration with a Canadian composer and producer Paul Katsnelson (song «Miles Away»), and a children’s song written by Anna Gavrilova for her son (song «Astronomers in China»). Lyrics in the «House of Cards» album are written by Elen Cora, Anna Gavrilova, and Andrew Mosckalev.
Since 2009 Elen also became the vocalist of Russian disco group Studiya-80 which was started in 2005 by Vitaly Polozov. Elen re-recorded the first album of Studiya-80 titled «Pridumannyi Mir» and is working on a new album, both of which are planned to be released in 2013.

Personal Life

Elen was born on February 2, 1985 in Minusinsk. When she was a child her family moved to Krasnoyarsk, where she attended school, and since the age of 14 took voice lessons from Alla Severyanina, an opera singer of famed Krasnoyarsk opera. Elen composed her first song when she was 11 years old and she dreamed of becoming a singer from an early age, inspired by the music of C.C.Catch, Sandra and Modern Talking. She later performed in clubs in Krasnoyarsk, but her life changed forever when in 2007 year she met Vitaly Polozov, a composer from Novosibirsk. They recorded many songs together and got married in 2009, the year Elen moved to Novosibirsk. Their daughter Anastasia was born in November of 2010. Several songs («Little Lady» and «She’s my girl, she’s my child» ) are dedicated to Anastasia. Elen stays at home with her daughter while working on new songs.

Interesting Facts about Elen

• Elen received her first synthesizer from her older brother Alexei, when he left for college, and she soon started composing music.
• Elen first saw Vitaly when he was performing in Novisibirsk in a warm up for a Modern Talking concert but did not have a chance to talk to him at that time.
• Elen is the model on the picture on the cover of Mauro Farina’s vinyl record«Lovables — It`s beautiful» released in 2012 by I Venti DAzzurro Records.
• Elen and Vitaly married in a religious ceremony in 2012 — 15 of July (in a Russian Orthodox church) almost 3 years after they were married in a civil ceremony — 23 of September.
